Xinjiang recipes series

There’s another regularly updated Xinjiang blog out on the block and that’s This is Xinjiang. It’s mostly a record of the personal experiences of an academic teaching English at a university, and among the entertaining or insightful anecdotes coming from a newcomer to Xinjiang there are also posts like the latest one where readers can bring a little piece of Xinjiang to their own households. The writer, who goes by Saka Uzala, is starting a recipe series featuring dishes from Xinjiang, starting with “Tomato and Cucumber Salad.” We look forward to future additions to this series.
