All I know about the guy is that he is reviled in Xinjiang for pushing the shuang-yu language policy and seems to come down hard on splittist types (as you mentioned sometime back). Can the editors corroborate this info, or have anything else to add ? Anyhow, it is great that Adil can now "re-start" his life, and let us hope his family can join him here in Sweden.
