I hate to be off-topic, but I saw the following article mentioning Xinjiang governor Nur Bekri as a possible core member of the 6th generation of CCP national leadership, and did not know where to mention it. (http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/world/24644-chinese-public-gets-peek-at-sixth-generation-leaders). All I know about the guy is that he is reviled in Xinjiang for pushing the shuang-yu language policy and seems to come down hard on splittist types (as you mentioned sometime back). Can the editors corroborate this info, or have anything else to add ?

Most people here in Sweden were more surprised that the Migration Board appealed the verdict after the first ruling in the Migration Court... but I don't believe that pressure form the Chinese side had much to do with the Migration Board decision not to grant asylum (as is hinted in the CSM articles), rather that the Migration Board is obstinately bureaucratic! Anyhow, it is great that Adil can now "re-start" his life, and let us hope his family can join him here in Sweden.
