Oh, what the heck… Yeah, GoogleDitu doesn’t seem to get that, if you want to make a map of Xinjiang, you don’t want the map to focus on something all the way across the country. When I first uploaded it, it was just focused at the all-China level (as indicated by the caption), but now it’s just impossible. Porfiriy understands these things far better than I do, so perhaps we’ll get it fixed when he’s back on-line…

Something wrong with the map… it was focused really, really closely on some place in Ningxia (I think) for some reason.
