“Female Special Forces:” Patriotic Women in Xinjiang will not be One-Upped by a Crazy Terrorist

What happens when the bad guys up the ante by sending a naive, young, 19-year old girl to do the dirty work for them? You gather up the strongest, most motivated, and most patriotic girls from around your Autonomous Region to take them down, that’s what!

Airline under attack? Need a quick emergency response? We\'ll freaking climb up there.

This dedicated lass is a member of Xinjiang’s brand-new all-women Special Forces team, based in Urumqi. According to the article on CCTV, they have the ability to “conduct reconnaissance, assault in the anti-terrorism struggles as well as other risky and challenging missions,” and their responsibilities include “maintaining stability and handling other challenging situations.” That’s nice and vague! But seriously, an all-female team of kick-ass military commandos? Sweet. Is XUAR responding to something in particular by making the PRC’s third female special forces team (after Sichuan and the People’s Armed Police Forces Academy)? Let’s take a look at this picture:

Hm... what's that in the backgrond?

See that in the background? That’s a China Southern jet for those who may not know. I guess the message is sort of, “I’ve had it with these mother****ing terrorists on this mother****ing plane!”

Sure, the Urumqi girls can climb walls and kick…but can they do it in a full chador?
